The "Discussion" List has been implemented and is currently on line and in use. To sign up, simply go to CONNARES Discussion List, enter your email address and, (optionally), your name. You will then be asked to enter a password (or one will be chosen and sent to you.) Once your data is received, you will receive an email at the given address for you to validate your information and activate your account. NOTE: If you were a member on the previous Discussion List, your information was simply carried over and you have nothing to do to begin using the new list except change the address in the email header.
Several new courses have been added to the FEMA site that are available free and online. There are also some courses that have been revised and may be worth taking over again. Many of these involve the various Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) and their relationship to the Incident Command System (ICS).
For a complete list of these courses, click on the FEMA Training Site.
